Registration & Account Verification
To access the educational resources and services on Formula, users are required to register an account. During this process, we collect the following essential information:
- User Name
- Password (Stored in an encrypted format)
- Class / Grade level
- Email Address
To verify and authenticate your identity, an OTP (One-Time Password) or verification code is sent to your registered email address. Completion of this step is mandatory to activate your account and securely log in to the application in the future.
Information Collection and Usage
Formula is an educational application meticulously designed for HSC and university admission candidates, featuring unlimited practice exams and an extensive Question Bank. To deliver a personalized and adaptive learning experience, we track and record certain user activities within the app.
For instance, users have the option to bookmark or save specific questions for future review and revision. Your performance on mock exams, bookmarked questions, and overall study progress are safely synced to our backend server. This allows the system to customize your dashboard and serve relevant content matched to your academic needs.
Security Measures
We implement robust technical and administrative security frameworks to prevent unauthorized access, loss, modification, or accidental destruction of user data. Our database infrastructure is regularly updated to withstand security threats. However, please note that while we employ maximum effort to secure your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic database storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Deletion Request
We respect your right to control your personal data. You are free to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal information from our servers at any time.
To delete your data, you can navigate to the Settings screen inside the Formula app and tap the 'Delete Account' button. Alternatively, you may contact our support team directly by emailing us at formulaapp.rw@gmail.com. Upon receiving your email or in-app request, we will process it promptly and ensure all your records are permanently purged from our backend servers in accordance with active data protection laws.
